The motif of a cabin, a place of total isolation, akin to a black hole, serves as the anchor for a project in which the media of image, word, and sound merge in real time: ​- As a physical location, a black cabinet that gradually transforms into something else in successive stages of concert, performance, and exhibition ​- As a sounding place, without the resulting sounds, which were conceived and recorded as music from the outset and form the basis for the current Gaubenmann album ​- As a symbolic location, the central motif of a prose text, during which fragments of performances can be heard as a narrative voice The performances in the series alternate between phases of improvised performance and concerts with rehearsed pieces of music
